

Raised in Southern California, Eugene acquired his B.A. degree in History with honors from the University of California at Berkeley. After working for a few years as an insurance claims adjuster for a large Southern California auto insurance company, he went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California College of the Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). While in law school, Eugene won the American Jurisprudence Award for Corporations. His note on cultural conflict-based employment discrimination was published by the UC Law SF Journal on Gender and Justice.
While at law school, Eugene served as a summer associate with the Berkeley City Attorney’s office where he researched city matters ranging from Prop 215 (medical marijuana) municipal implementation to litigation settlement forms. He also clerked or served as an extern for the San Francisco Superior Court Law and Motion department, the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission, and the US Department of Labor office of the Solicitor General. Eugene also served as an intake/case assessment volunteer for UC College of Law San Francisco’s Legal Aid Program. Eugene also served as co-chair of the UC College of Law San Francisco chapter of the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (FBANC).
Besides his legal training and experience, Eugene went on to found several Internet startups since the summer of his first year in law school. He has over 20 years of experience with Business Process Outsourcing firms based in the Philippines.
He brings his over 20 years of direct client care, negotiation, strategic analysis, and customer service to Solimon Rodgers as an Associate Attorney.
In his spare time, Eugene enjoys cooking, doing voiceovers for Youtube videos, dictating self-improvement books, and reading books on ancient history.
